1. Data Collection and Processing
1.1 Extension Usage
DBTool is designed with privacy at its core. All database processing happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly (sql.js). When you load a database file or URL, it is processed entirely on your device. We never intercept, store, or transmit this data to any server.
1.2 Permissions
The extension requires these permissions:
storage- To save your preferences, query history, and saved queries locally
All data stored using the storage permission remains on your device and is never synced to our servers.
2. No Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We do not use analytics, tracking cookies, or any third-party services. The extension works entirely offline and locally in your browser. Your database files, queries, and all processing remain completely private on your device.
3. Local Storage
DBTool stores the following data locally in your browser:
- User preferences (dark mode, panel sizes)
- Query history
- Saved queries
This data is stored only on your device and can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing browser data.
4. Your Rights
Since we don't collect any data from you, there is no personal data on our servers to access, modify, or delete. All your data is stored locally on your device. You can uninstall the extension at any time through Chrome's extension settings to remove all local data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
